brooksider Montana Fan Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Halifax Posts: 335 M.O.C. #9963	Duramax problems The low coolant DIC started to come on. Checking the reason for low coolant and it is leading to a bad head gasket.All the signs are there. Hard top rad hose in the morning, bubbles in the reservoir. The truck still works good. Confirmation will come on Thurs. as the garage has some strips that they dip in the coolant to see if signs of combustion products show up. Keep you posted. Could be a 3k -4K job -ouch. Joe
