Because at Rallys we don't want anyone to go home hungary and with a weight loss we will again have an Amish dinner hosted in an Amish home by an Amish family.
The Amish Dinner will be held at Miller's Country Kitchen again this year.
The date is Saturday, Sept. 22 at 5 PM. The menu will be basically the same as last year which is :
homemade bread, apple butter and jelly
Baked chicken
Roast beef
mashed potatoes and gravy
noodles with chicken bits
green beans
Deluxe cabbage salad.
and of course pies and Ice Cream; pies will be Apple, pecan and Rhubarb custard
There will be coffee, tea and ice water and Esther's own mint Iced Tea (lightly sweet).
Cost will be $20, this includes tip and tax.
Need reservations by Sept. 14 so Mrs. Miller can plan. Prior to the dinner we will be collecting your money and at that time you will receive an admission ticket--no ticket, no food. The maximum people she can serve is 160.
Because of the large number of people who attend we cannot accept cancellations after Sept. 18th. Also make sure that your spouse has not signed you up prior to making your reservation. We don't want anyone to have to pay for and eat two meals.
Watch for further postings as the time gets closer for specific details on who to get tickets from and directions on how to get there, etc.
