8.1 gas 3500 GMC

gbsb Seasoned Camper Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Mt Pleasant Posts: 60 M.O.C. #5015	8.1 gas 3500 GMC WE are fulltiming in our '09 Montana 3400RL 5th wheel. We have been at a KOA for a couple of years now. Not long till we retire and go on the road. I have a GMC 3500 crew cab long bed with 8.1 gas and a allison transmittion. Any one with this combo. How does it handle the job, I have no intention of getting another truck for a long time just looking for a little insight as what to expect. W have made a few short trips with rig but usually travel by motorcycle. Thanks
