Exterior wax job
What do you recommend to use to keep the jell coat looking new without the haze I've got in the past? I know everyone has their favorite, but what actually works?
Thanks in advance, Chip

I use the same thing I use on my other vehicles...Nu Finish or Meguiar's Cleaner Wax.

Nu Finish is not a wax but a polish. Works great if you start with good surface, but not if haze or fading has taken place.

As noted, neither are waxes...didn't know anybody even used "wax" any more.
Buffalochip, to answer your question, I can't tell the difference. Both are easy on easy off. Nu Finish does recommend a second coat within 30 days.

Meguiars marine and Rv cleaner wax 50. Got it from Amazon. Used a buffer to put on and take off. My HC is a 2014 and everything looked good but wanted a protective coating before I take it out this year. Everything is is smooth and glossy.

Thanks mike117, everyone seems to agree on maguires marine polish/ wax. Good to know for sure. My rig is new and I want to protect it from the elements before they make it look old.

I use Aero Cosmetics WasWax All.... It's waterless, quick, and does a great job.

I have used NuFinish for years on my cars, truck, and Harley. It is easy to watch on the vehicles and keep track of how long it protects. When water stops beading up I know it is time to start planning another wax job, except on the Harley which gets waxed every month.
I try to wax the Montana twice a year but it is a job. Last year I only got the entire thing done once but I did get the front cap done twice. So far everything is staying as new.

Thanks for all the replies! It sounds like maguires and new finish are the ones I need. I've tried just about everything and they have all left a haze. One professional recommended protect all, but you have to take it off too fast but it would seem it would work good on decals.

In 2007 I blew out my rotator cuff while waxing the Monty. Now--I use another guy! Yes, it is $300 but it keeps my shoulder ready for golf! And the Monty looks great!

Im with you! I had to have therapy on my right shoulder because of waxing my 06 everest. Now i have a 10 foot ladder that gets me much closer to the work at hand, no more streching.
