No water flow on hot side
Never seen this before but.. sold a 2005 Montana arctic package 34RL to a friend every thing was fine, he calls and tells me there is no water flow on any hot faucet.. they’ve been using it for several weeks with no issues now and all of a sudden this happens.. he’s running park water on electric I told him to kill the breaker, but I didn’t think trying gas would work either.. Never had an issue with this camper before.. any ideas? Thanks

Did he flip the wrong switch in the convenience center and turn the water heater bypass on?

Water flow
It sounds to me like a piece of mineral in the tank may have clogged up the supply line at the tank where the supply exits.

Nope it just stopped, he is pulling the tank drain with park water off, and back flush the tank first.

If I am reading this correct he has no water flow on the hot side. This happened to a friend of mine and it turned out to be a check valve on his water heater. His just stopped working also so we took it out and it worked fine . He ordered a brass one to replace the cheap plastic one that failed.

We had this problem and it was the check valve on the exit side of the water heater. It's purpose is to prevent anti freeze from entering the tank when winterizing. I removed it and have not replaced it as we spend winter in the warmer climate and don't winterize.

Is the check valve easy to get to? What did you use to replace?
Thanks

I agree with the check valve. There is no convenience center on a 2005 so the "bypass" switch is a non-issue

Bad check valve stopped all hot water flow a few weeks ago. I removed it, removed the guts, and re-installed. It never freezes here, so I never have to winterize system. From what I read, the check valve only comes into play when winterizing.

Check valve is on the back of the water heater. Easy to get to on my model, others? You can buy them lots of places.
