Many people will be glad to help you but we need more information about your present set-up.

Anyone wanting to have a removable hitch on the front of their newer F250 or F350 like Jason has, I have the receiver that goes on your tow hooks. When we had our 2012 F350 that is exactly how we hauled our bikes. Recently sold Florida home and still have it. We are in SW Florida and a 12 pack in trade will make it yours. I think it ran about $250 when we bought it.

One of our friends installed a bumper hitch, similar to one on the back of a truck and attached a bike rack to that.

Swagman bike rack. Use on in the back of my 2014 HC. No problems as of yet. Camping world, Amazon and others sell them.

I have a custom made adapter that bolts onto the pin box. You then can put any hitch bike rack and the bikes ride between the cap of the fifth and the back of the pickup cab. I used a rack that tilted down and then stood in the back of the pickup to install and remove. I tried the bumper style rack and found the whiplash effect was terrible. Bikes were much more stable and protected when they rode on the front end. I can't use this rack on my current 5th so if interested let me know. It is located in Boise, Idaho

A rear bumper? Our 2018 3791RD (built Sep 2017) doesn't have a bumper. It has a 2" receiver hitch.

I attached a receiver to the front of my truck and my bikes have ridden there for the past 3 years. I have seen the my 5th wheel take some hard bounces and can only guess what would happen to bikes. Also as others have said, you can keep an eye on the bikes!

For our SOB, which has a 2 inch receiver, I purchased a Hollywood brand bike rack from eTrailer and it is the best rack I have owned. It hold s two bikes but can be upgraded to hold four. I had a Swagman on our Montana and it worked fine until the welds on the t-bracket broke as we were travelling down the road. Not sure when it happened but eventually a trucker honked and pointed toward the back of the rig. When we pulled over we found the bikes pretty much ground down to nothing. The Hollywood is not cheap and should not be.

Today I installed a front hitch for the Swagman that I have been carrying on the back. I have a rear view camera and understand why welds would break with all of the movement back there. Also I watched my friends bike fall off of the back of his last summer. This is the hitch I bought:

Like Mike 117 said, Swagman makes a bumper mount or a receiver mount bike rack. Have used the receiver type for 6 yrs and had no problems at all. Been across US and down to Arizona for 5 yrs and the bike rack worked good, no matter the road conditions.
