I'm not near my Monte so I can't go out and check to see if the drawers have a latch type on the drawer that holds them to the runners. Many of the stick cabinets have them and I'm presuming so to the Monte's so they won't come completely out if they should come open while going down our nice smooth roads here in the States. Pull the drawer out as far as you can and check underneath to see if there is a pivoting latch that hold the drawer from opening or coming out completely, if there is that's the problem and they have to be pushed to get the drawer out. If there is no latches-- your guess is as good as mine! Keep us posted on the results!
