If you are talking about adding another 40AMP breaker, here is the way I did it on my old SOB.

Its the top 2 breakers.
Notice I used flat bar stock to parallel them together.



The bottom copper bar(on left) is the feed from the battery, so the top left bar just extends the 12V to both breakers. The breakers are marked + on the one side.
