2003 3575 slide-out problem
I purchased a new 2003 3575 recently. I know that the dealer had problems with the largest slide (desk/table) operating on a/c. Took delivery and the slide worked O.K. at first. Now all slides work properly when sliding "out", but when retracting, this last and largest slide just stops during it's way "in". Anyone have any similar problems? Any suggestions? Will be calling the dealer in the morning, but they thought that they had it fixed once already. I am used to dealing with electric/hydrolic systems, but have not had enough time yet to look at the mechanism. Any help would be appreciatted. Thanks.

We have a 2004 3575 and have not had the problem, but I would check the hydraulic fluid level and make sure there are no leaks in the system, either at the pump or at the line connected to the hydraulic ram for the slide. Also, if you have the individual slide valve option, make sure all of the valves are fully in the correct position.
One potential thing you can try, if you have the slide valve selector, is to shut off the other two slides and see if that allows you to close the big slide.

Does the slide stop moving yet the hydraulic motor continue to run? If the motor cuts out and re-starts then there are a couple of things to do. First make sure the gaskets are well lubed, they create a lot of friction. Mine was doing this and lube fixed it. Others have found that the circuit breaker going to the pump is undersized and needs to either be replaced with a new one or changed to the next higher amperage.

We had the same thing in our '03 3295RK. Keystone told our dealer the resetting circuit breaker was smaller than needed for that application. They replaced it with the proper size and we've not had another occurrence of this. That was well over a year ago. A few others in this forum have had the same thing. If you wait maybe a minute and it then will move again, this is probably the problem. Hope this helps.
