Generator Feed to EMS-PT50X
I fed my 5000watt generator into the fuse box for the 5r. When I disconnect from street power and connect to the generator all seems fine except I'm seeing 62H on the EMS display between the other notes - L-1 120volts 20A, L-2 130volts 5A, E0, 62H. Any ideas? Went to the Progressive Industries web page but could not find a reference to to 62H.

The 62H refers to hertz... the frequency of the voltage phase. On a regular shore power connection H will be 60... the hertz is used for many appliances , clocks etc for timing purposes.
Gen H62 is nominal on hertz

I guess it threw me because it was 61 or 61 depending on if I had both a/c units running or not. When I hook to shore power (Entergy), it shows no H at all. Another thing I noticed was that the amps shown at the pedestal on the EMS-PT50Xwas 20ish while when reading on the wires directly using a Fluke 365 Detachable Jaw True-RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter, it was 16.? on each leg with both A/C running.

I had done this wiring set up since we were having rolling blackouts even though we were not directly effected by Laura. Entergy said that they had to "Balance" the loads. Today, we have had no blackouts but instead some small quakes that kill the power for well under a second. Just long enough for the central air compressor to stop and restart and the Dish box to take a quick dump. Got to be hard on it! Didn't even kill the desktop PC. I was not sure how the 5r electronics were going to tolerate the 5000 watt very old Champions generator. It seems to be doing fine but I told DW if she wanted to run the microwave, to kill one of the A/C units at the panel breaker. Nice to know that it can be done.

You might want to get a battery backup/uninterrupted power supply or two for the sensitive electronics and TVs. They respond in milliseconds and protect them from surges and the voltage changes.

Here's a PDF version of the User Manual for your EMS. It has all the codes identified. Good info to save for future reference. Downloand it and save it. Click here.

So as per that manual and their web page E-0 is no problemo. I had just never seen the frequency displayed when on shore power. I guess when it's not 60Hz, then it displays what it is. In my case when on generator power, 61 or 62 hertz.
