auto level jacks, their position from factory...
Was wondering why my auto level jacks where bolted so low. There are numerous holes in mounting point, I lifted the front two as high as I could and received another 6" clearance.
Auto leveled twice so far no problems, gonna do the remaining four. Anyone have problems doing this themselves, or any insight. They were extremely low to start. Thanks

If you get them up too high and try to setup on some uneven ground, you may run out of stroke. I've had a few times where I actually had to add some leveling blocks under the jack pads.

My experience is the same as Michelle. I wouldn't move them under any circumstances. They do look low, but I've scraped the frame in the rear going over ditches and uneven ground and have never even rubbed one of the pads on the ground. On the other hand we've stayed a whole winter when we had to raise one side till the wheels were hanging so I need mine as low as is reasonable.

By raising the cylinders, you are extending the ram farther to get the same leveling result. You won't be as stable as with any cylinder extended near full stroke ... and what everybody else said. The two rear sets are close enough to the axles that you'd be hard pressed dragging them on something.

We have always been concerned about our front jacks and though that even if they were raised one hole it would make quite a difference. We will follow this thread and make our decision, thanks.
