Carpet

Has anyone replaced the carpet in your Montana. I am interested in what kind of carpet you used and who replaced it.

We do not have carpet in our 2019 3791RD however we recently redid the carpet in our 48' Boat all the carpet layers I called would not do a boat or RV, so In called a couple local RV dealers and asked who they used and then I easily found someone to do it. Doing carpet in small spaces is a special skill for carpet installers.

With that said, If I had Carpet to replace in my RV I would buy commercial carpet tiles and lay them myself, also buy extra so you can replace squares if needed. Those commercial carpet tiles are damn near bullet proof and show no wear regardless of traffic.

I think you are on to something there lightsout. The materials and choice in carpet squares are much wider and better than the old days. We did them in our boat and our party room here at the home base.
