Is the DVD player Blue Ray are not? Any disc we try only shows in black and white.

Sounds like an HDMI cable issue to me.

Up through 2014 I don't think any of the OEM players were BlueRay.

If you are talking Mountainers or High Country's you are right about no blu ray on the Jensen stuff but on my 2012 and 2015 Montana's they have had Samsung or Sony 5.1 surround blu ray DVD

Actually we've got a Samsun Blue Ray on our 2010. I'd check the cable first and make sure it's plugged into the right places. When ours was new they used a bread bag tie to hold the cables together, luckily they did take the time to hook it up right.
