No shade on BR window
Hello everyone. This is my first post after creating an account this PM. Bought our first Montana in February. Still looking forward to our first trip in the Montana. This is our fourth 5th wheel since buying our first in 2001.
We have a 2019 3120RL. Brought it home and took a couple weeks organizing our stuff. Preparing to move it to storage and discovered that there is no shade on the window in the bedroom above the dresser. Dealer says the window is an emergency exit and they don't put a shade on an exit window.
Okay. An uncovered window in the BR will not work. Have any of you ordered rolling shades to cover that window? Any info you share will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!!
We have a roller shade that came with our "emergency exit" bedroom window, from the factory. I would press the dealer to get one for you and have them install it too. I`m willing to bet, if you look in other coaches on their lot, they will have a roller shade on the emergency exit bedroom window.

You dealer is wrong there is suppose to be a shade there someone forgot to put on in. If dealer still won’t put it in call Keystone and let them know.

Every Montana I have ever seen since 2001 has a shade on the bedroom "exit" window. The dealer is WRONG (surprise) and a tour of any other Montana on their lot will demonstrate that.

Welcome to the MOC forum. As you can see this is a very helpful place!
We’re headed to N. Little Rock in June for the Jimmy Buffett concert.

Wow! What a forum. So many quick, helpful replies.
So, an uncovered window in the BR is not standard. Good to hear.
Saw the private message from Sam, spoke to the dealer again with same results and replied to Sam. Will post again when this is fixed.
MidMOTraveler, we saw Buffett the last time he was in Little Rock. Should be a great show. NLR KOA is not fancy but adequate. We actually lived there in our 5er for a few months while our house was being built years ago.

Our 3610 has TWO shades on the Emergency Exits. Soooooo your dealer is full of BS. Which is pretty typical, don't feel bad about that.

It may take a little time to conclude this issue so I thought I'd give an update.
Rondo is correct...Sam is 'da man'. Sam actually spoke to my dealer explaining that the window does deserve a shade. Dealer couldn't or wouldn't get part numbers needed using my VIN so Sam did it for me. The parts ordering/warranty authorization stuff is in progress at the dealer.
That's all for now. All you campers, have a great weekend and be careful out there.

We have a 2018 3120RL that we had custom ordered (dual pane windows, day/night shades, and etc). The emergency exit windows are 1) bedroom over dresser, 2) left window over dining room table, and 3) back right window over fold out couch. All 3 emergency exit windows have roller shades. We did not get day shades in the bedroom, but definitely all windows have night shades.

Our 2019 3121 came with shades on ALL the bedroom windows just like our old 2011 3150. Your dealer is not very intelligent!

Not to get off the shade subject and I do agree you should have one. We have a 2011 Hickory and there is a window screen on the window. So Can the window be opened so we can get a breeze in the bedroom. Just didn't want to try to open it and it do what it is meant to do like fall out. Now that would be a bummer.
Thanks and
Happy camping and be safe on your journey all.
