Wooly Bear caterpillars etc
Greetings again,
Like many of you I am sure, I have often been startled by insects when I go to remove my tire covers in preparation for a trip. I have come up against red wasps, daddy long leg spiders, june bugs, and an occasional hornet or two. The latest invaders are wooly bear caterpillars who seem to like the soft-lined side of the tire covers - they make a tremendous mess and leave a black stain weaving their cocoon into the fabric. Anyone have insect repellent ideas inside the tire covers ? Looking for something effective that will likely not compromise tire rubber.
Thanks,
Max
