Rear Window Shade
As we all know sun on the large rear window can be a real challenge to keeping things cool. I've come up with what I consider to be the perfect solution. It keeps the sun off not just the window but a large portion of the rear of the rig and still allows you to see out. It's tethered with two bungee cords with just enough tension to keep it out and is unaffected from even the SoCal Santa Ana winds.
Been up for a couple of months now and it's been a total game changer. I made it myself with shade cloth off Amazon and some old nylon strap I've hoarded over the years. Stitched it up with our old Singer 99 sewing machine. The hooks are CareFree of Colorado window shade hooks.
