Hopefully someone can help you with your 2014…but I don’t know the answer. Try searching “replacement toilet” and lots of past threads will come up.

My 2018 came with two Thetfords, and based on reading this forum for 5 years - they seem to have leaks and troubles. I replaced the Thetford in our front bathroom just a few months after we bought the rig with a Dometic 320. I bought it online from PPL RV for $250 or so back then. I also installed a valve from Home Depot on both toilets so that if the toilet leaks - at least I could turn the toilet water feed off.

In 2021 (I think) I bought another Dometic 320 for the half bath. I FAILED to measure from the centerline of the toilet hub to the wall…got the Thetford removed - and the Dometic will not fit…so the Thetford lived to see another day. Of course I have the water valve to shut the water off when/if it fails.

Before you start looking for a replacement toilet - measure from the wall to the center of the hub to make sure your selection will fit. Here is a screen shot of some prices on a Dometic 320…

I am pretty sure Montana was (and still is) using the Thetford toilet in 2014 (I have a 2012 with one). It is prone to failing to close the input line after a flush. Once it fills the bowl it then floods the floors. The first time was a fluke. The second time it was replaced. A Dometic 320 is the go to toilet assuming it fits (which it does in most cases). But measure to be sure.

We replaced our original Thetford for a Dometic 310. As long as the replacement has room behind it and does not hit the wall, you can replace with any RV toilet. The base is the same for all of them, as is the water pipe connection (1/2 inch pex, if yours is pex?)

Good luck. FYI, the Thetford sucks! To replace the seal in the slide is a pain. The toilet has to separate. The Dometic 310, 320, the seal just pulls out and you place the new one right in. No dismantling anything. I'll never have another camper again if it has the Thetford of any model!

Install a water shut off valve to the toilet (just in case).
I got the Crimp on pex one (I have a pex crimping kit).
