Manual slide out help!

I have a 2014 Montana 3402RL and the hydraulic motor went out last year and I have yet to swallow the $1600 to replace it.

I paid an RV guy $300 to bring the slides in last year with a drill and I wrote down instructions to bring them out again this year but it is not working as planned.

My instructions to bring the slides out is ; with the drill in reverse & outside slide switches in the "ON" (Upward) position - solenoids do not have to be open - run drill counter clock-wise and bring out the slides ( One-by-one ). No worky worky...

Thoughts? Please and thank you!!!

Hydraulic motors can be rebuilt.
Hydraulic pump rebuild
discovered an electric motor shop that will rebuild it including rewinding, for $325. two week turn around on the rebuilds. I shipped it Eurton Electric, in Whittier, CA.
