Cold, but no Hot water in Kitchen

I'm not getting any hot water from the kitchen faucet.

Dewinterized new (to us) unit this week. Plugged into shore power with CG water attached.

Good cold water flow in kitchen. Good cold and hot water in bath sinks. Opened an inline diverter under the sink that I assume pushes cold water to the WH to send hot water back to kitchen (tell me if I'm wrong!).

I'm not super comfortable pulling valves or opening up inaccessible panels, but may I better get used to it!

Anything super obvious that I might be missing?

Now that I think about it, the diverter under the sink is probably for the ice maker, duh!

Yes, the valve under the sink likely is for the ice maker.
Assuming you checked that the water heater is turned on either electric or gas?
Also, make sure it is not still bypassed from winterization. There is a valve in the wet bay for that.

You say you aren't getting hot water at the kitchen, so are you getting water that's cold or not getting any water at all?

If you are getting cold water, make sure the knobs for outside water connection in the convenience center are off (turned counter clockwise). If they are on it's easy to get a blend of water.

If you aren't getting any water, make sure the water heater by-pass knob in the convenience center is set to normal flow. You could also have an issue with the valve on the kitchen faucet fixture.

You may find that you will need to remove the panel in the pass through storage compartment that is next to the convenience center. This will give you access to all the piping on the back side to see if the previous owner disconnected and plugged something.

OP stated he was getting hot water in the bath sinks, so obviously he doesn't have the water heater by passed. Are you letting the water to the sink run long enough to get water from the water heater to the kitchen faucet? Don't know your model but on our rear kitchen it took a while, like at least two minutes. More when it was cold outside. Check and make sure the hot and cold lines are connected to the faucet correctly. If these are not the issue I would suspect a blockage, or a defective cartridge at the kitchen sink. Best way to isolate the issue is to turn off camp ground water supply and pump. Under the kitchen sink disconnect the hot water supply. Place it in a bucket and have someone else activate the pump or turn the camp ground water supply on. That will at least confirm you have hot water getting to the faucet.

I guess I was overthinking it all. It turns out, running the water longer and knowing which side of a single handle faucet is the hot side was the solution!

That's perfectly fine. I have a single handle on my kitchen sink and after 5 years of use, almost 24x7x365, I still cannot get it right, which direction is all hot and which direction is all cold. The bathroom sink is also a single handle, and it's set up the opposite ...... thus ... my constant confusion between BOTH of them!

I had that exact problem in ours and it ended up needing a new faucet.
