These sorts of things will happen. When hooking up alone with our old TT and in a hurry to get to the campground before dark, I forgot to crank up the tongue jack, subsequently plowing a twenty foot furrow in the back yard, all the time wondering why the truck was towing so sluggishly.
When Marsha and John arrived home, she had a good laugh because she knew what I had forgotten to do!
As long as we learn from our mistakes and they are not serious, it can be a good learning experience.
