We generally do a rest area stop in the morning, a lunch stop, and then head for the campground - an afternoon rest area stop if we have a long day planned. Bypass all the expensive, dirty and hard to park in truck stops. After we unhook, use gas buddy to find the cheapest fuel around, and if we are lucky, a store or nice restaurant in the same area.
