I have a Weber Q220 grill and now have had my third regulator go bad in 3 years. I'm wondering if other people are having the same problem with their grills. My first two regulators went bad in the first 18 months of ownership and Weber sent me new ones at no charge. I talked to them again yesterday about my third one going bad and they said "they are not aware of any wide spread issues" with the regulators. I asked them to send me another one and they said they would be happy to at the price of $43. They also said the new regulator is not the same as the one that came with the grill. To me, that is an admission that the earlier regulators was bad. Am I just unlucky or are others having the same issues? I would like to hear from others before I decide whether to purchase a new regulator, or to chalk Weber up as a brand to never buy from again.
