Just be carefull when you are talking GM Chev/GMC their is a 3/4 Ton 2500 8,600 GVWR and a 2500 HD 9,200 GVWR and the 1 Ton 3500 11,400 GVWR.

The 2500 the largest motor you can get is the 6.0 the HD the 8.1 and the Duramax Diesel.
