Slide Hydraulic Ram Adjustment

Was going through the slide maintenance book today and came across ram adjustment for tightness on the in postion and the out postion. It noted that once both postions of slide is established to bring all three nuts together first torquing the two nuts on each side of the bracket to hold it firm and then lock the two nuts on the inner side as the final step. Checked mine on the new unit and all of the rams had at least 1 to 1 1/4 inch of space between the outer nut and the two inner locked nuts. This situation was allowing the brackett to bend. Has anyone else noted this on their slide rams or was this missed at the factory and then on the PDI? When I originally looked I had thought this bracket play was a requirement. Hope this is descriptive enough and really interested to see what the feedback is. Thanks Ellis
