Front Landing Leg Fuse

I have blown the 30Amp fuse and replaced with a 30 Amp automatic resetting breaker. For the last year the breaker is tripping more often when I am raising the nose. Friday I had to raise it 18 inches and it seemed to work better then the switch quit working.
I found the switch had failed. Replaced the switch and the motor is again able to raise the nose without tripping the resettable breaker. OH the darn switch is rated at 20AMPS and fused for 30AMPS. No wonder it failed.

It is my belief that the contacts on the switch were poor and caused a higher current draw tripping the resettable breaker over the last year.

So if you are finding this problem suggest you look at replacing the switch.
