New to TTs - 04 Mountaineer 315RLS
I just ordered an 04 Mountaineer 315RLS. This is the first TT for my wife and I and we would appreciate any feedback on what to look for when we pick it up, to expect from the dealer, pros and cons people have found with this model, etc. I'm also curious if there is a great deal of difference in this unit between the 13,500 BTU and 15,000 BTU AC.
To go with this we ordered an 04 1 ton Chevy Express 3500 extended Cargo van with 4.10 rear axle ratio, anti-slip differential, 6L engine. The extended took a few hundred pounds of towing capacity off but extended the wheel base from 135" to 155". Towing is 9,600. From what I've gathered the longer wheelbase should make towing more stable (?). Since we needed the van vs a truck I think we've put together the right package. Any thoughts on any of this or heads up are most appreciated.
