The On/Off switch next to the batteries is for the inverter which powers you residential refer. It will have no effect on the 12V power system. You have three options to turn off the 12V power:

o - Turn off the Battery Disconnect switch in the Convenience Center. This kills all 12V power to most everything but definitely the bedroom light. Quick and easy

o - Find the 12V fuse in the distribution panel and pull the one which feeds the bedroom light. The Old Worlds Craftsmen have really bad penmanship so finding the right fuse may take a bit of trial and error.

O - Disconnect the battery in the front compartment. This will kill all 12V power in the rig.

Most likely the 1st and 3rd options will cause the A/C to quit as there is a 12V control board in there (AFAIK). The fuse is the sure way to disconnect power and ensure other devices still work.
