We always travel with a full fresh tank, every trip. Probably 50% of the time we travel back with maybe half full grey/black tanks. We have done this in all our Montana's and our toyhaulers. I asked the toyhauler manufacturer about it; I was assured it was a non issue as long as I stayed under their axle weights.
My take away was that as long as you were within the gross weight spec of the axles the trailer doesn't care.
