Our favorites are all within 50 miles of our homestead and include (in no particular order:

Pete's Lake and Widewaters - both north of US 2 on Forest Highway 13 south of Munising (no hookups)

Camp Seven Lake - north of US 2, and east of Forest Hwy 13 on Co Rd 442 (some sites with elec)

Little Bay De Noc Rec Area: South of US 2 (near Rapid River)on Co Rd 513; 3 separate campgrounds on the shore of Little Bay De Noc (no hookups)

Be sure to check on-line for dates that they close for the season; some sites stay open until November.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah I saw many close by the end of Oct. Also I saw many have some tight length restrictions. We'll look into these.
