Toppers
Have toppers on our High Country as we did on our previous rig. Like them for convenience of not having to sweep off leaves, sticks,etc. but did have a "learning experience" when water froze on them last December. Evidently somehow the ice jammed between the edge of the slide and the side of the trailer and when retracting caused enough pressure to break some teeth off the cable drive gearbox on the largest slide, the other 2 were OK. I will know now to check for ice build up if we are in cold temps. Still would want toppers for the 99% of the time of no ice. They will sag just from rain but that runs off when retracting.
