The 2980 was our choice until we saw the new 3475. We liked the 2980 very well and it will be a great rig. We liked the more consolidated living room style on the 3475 (3400 and 3500 as well). Also the refrigerator is just inside the door so access couldn't be easier. That's an issue for some but certainly not all folks. You have to determine your personal requirements and go for that.
