I would LOVE to do that too . . .or a desk. However, one of the reasons for this model is so that we have two sofas for company when we have the son, his wife and 3 boys come visit. BUT that may only happen once or twice and the parents may never come. Hubby wants the option . . . just in case. IF we get the Solitude, the sofa might fit under the back storage. LOL
