So my take on this differs a bit from some others. First off we have disc brakes and had IS installed following last years national rally. No one knows your finances and what may be pricey to one may not be to another. Bottom line for me is that I view the suspension design as the week link on the 5th wheel. If or when you suffer a failure on the interstate in the middle of the night that cannot be repaired on the spot you tend to recalibrate what the cost of that item that might have prevented your being stranded really is. For me safety, comfort and my peace of mind have a value and it is more than the winter pricing I received from Morryde (hint). Whether we keep this coach or not I am certain we won’t own another 5th wheel without discs and IS. OBTW we FT so it was even less of a decision.
