My DW wants the Smart Tiles and we picked up some today. I noticed on the instructions it mentions they should not be installed less than 15" from a gas range. Where we want to put them is behind and beside the stove to brighten the space up and provide for easy cleanup for splatter.
I assume others have installed in a similar location. Any problems/concerns being that close to an open flame. Do the tiles get real hot when cooking something.?
