Is the Flush King an aftermarket flusher or are we talking the black tank flush that comes on the Montana?

I also flush with valve closed but I count off no more than five minutes, then pull the handle. When the flow dies down I do it over again and continue until it flows clear. I like to get enough water in there to flush out those things sitting on the bottom that might not otherwise move. If I have other things to do I'll leave the valve open and let it run for 20 minutes or until I see the flow is clear. Then next time I'll do the closed valve routine.

Once, I needed to completely fill the tank. Vicki watched down the toilet and it was right at ten minutes to fill the tank. It panicked her when the water started climbing up the down pipe rather quickly. I shut off the water flow when I heard her frantic beating on the wall. The time probably depends on water pressure.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
