We had State Farm, EVERYTHING we own was insured with them, multiple cars, home, cameras, computers, lots of little riders, and the TT. Then we bought Montana, you don't want to know what they wanted to charge us, fee was based on MSRP, NOT what we paid for it, but they would not pay out a claim on what we paid for it if we totaled it, but on a depreciated value. The deductable was low, we raised it a bunch, the rate went down. There was no rider talked about, there was no additional discount cause we had our entire collection insured with them. In Michigan, or so we were told, the fees for a RV are set, cause you can move it around, it does have wheels! When we moved out of the tri-county area (Wayne Oakland Washtenaw) rates on our cars dropped quite a bit, but not the RV. We ended up going with State Farm for one year, and then Al shopped, he ended up at Progressive. We will be checking on this truck and RV needing to be insured at same company stuff tho!
