I just cut away all the broken plastic and found an area of very soft rotted plywood. As I cut the broken plastic away I found a lot of standing water. I am not sure where it came from as we have slide toppers and they are not in terrible shape. The silicone caulk on the end trim pieces is fairly intact. Not sure about the bottom slide trim caulk though. This has had to been going on for awhile though. The slides were in tight all winter so I guess it had to be the bottom trim caulk that failed. I can't seem to find an open area though..
