I had heard the thing about slide removal for the fridge prior to buying this unit and it concerned me. One of the conversations I had with the folks at the dealership was with the service manager; a guy I've worked with for years. He told me it was a non issue. If they had to remove it they could by removing the doors; the slide was not in the equation.
