Just because I could, I just measured our French door fridge. It's
at least 29" deep without the doors but without any backside projection added in - and there are a couple. IIRC, our 5er has a 29/30" wide door. My guess is that the entrance door would need to be removed to avoid hinges and other door casing projections but not the slide
