Our Monty came with a generator prep package which consists of wiring and an enclosed box in the front of the trailer. I don't have a generator but had to cut access holes in that box in order to repair the landing gear cross over bar. (broken shear bolt). I have attached plates over the holes that I cut, and I want to seal them up in the event that I or the next owner decides to install a generator. Would plain old exterior sealant be ok? Is there a special sealant that should be used?
