I have a stainless steel one I bought from Lowe’s, about $80. Works fine for a camper. We also have a Big Green Egg. It’s great but not one you would carry with in your camper. It’s next to their smallest and still weights 80 pounds. I can have it up to over 600 degrees if I’m not careful in 10 minutes. You can hold almost any temperature you need from 250 to 900. I use a double hand full of charcoal or less for most of my needs each time I use it. We use real charcoal not the bickets. The real stuff is better. It burns hotter, cleaner, longer. A 10 pound bag will have 2 cups of ash. The normally stuff has a lot of limestone in it and I think that is where all the ash comes from. If you use charcoal get a bag and try it.
