Chuck do you think your slide was moving and was it enugh to release the lock on the awning slide. I'm sorry but I cant buy that excuse the rv shop was selling you. I have been going doen the hwy and seen these toppers open up with a good side wind, maybe if they put more tention on the topper spring it might solve the problem.
