We decided on the 3400RL
because I can't get up the stairs that often. With the bedroom upstairs I would only be up there when I got up or went to bed. Or the other thing!!!! (You Know what I mean) LOL. Climbing up and down to get to the livingroom wasn't something that I really wanted to be doing. Having the kitchen and the living area all on the lower level was just a better idea. I guess if you aren't handicaped then it would be nice. But for me it was not an option. Kathi
