Having a desk was a "must" when we ordered this 3400RL. However, I find now that we really don't use it other than the printer and router sit on it. And they could easily be moved elsewhere. I used to use the laptop on the desk. But then I realized my laptop is a LAPtop, not a DESKtop. Now it sits on my lap as I sit in my comfortable lazyboy. So we could do without the desk. Now I need to go look at the 3455RL floorplan to see what Boje is proposing.
