All the Maine places are great, but remember most campgrounds are closed by 10/12. We get frost a lot of frost at night in late September and early October. Hoses have been know to freeze and ice pools on the toppers. Also there are not a lot of Campgrounds along the southern route from the Maine seacoast all the way down to Virginia.
