Jim, if you come up with a "miracle chip" that is cost efficient, I would love it also! My 2004, 8.1L averages 7.5 mpg @ 62-65 mph. I think this IS the best I will ever get and expect! I just think of it in these terms: "I only average 3000-4000 a year pulling so I just visit alot of gas stations on my way!" (It's a bathroom break for the wife!) Happy hunting!
I considered Banks options but by the time I did the numbers, it would take several years to break even.
