Don't have solar, so I am not up on where the market is these days. Most good panels are mono crystal and put out around 16vdc in full sun. Don't remember the hf panel real well, but at the time I felt it was more of a "battery maintainer" than something that is going to ease load...even as a bandaid. But the people you need to hear from are those that have the installs done and working. John
