I know it will be very crowded so was wondering if anyone had figured out some little tricks to make the trip more enjoyable. Also would like to know the best places to eat in town as well as side trips not in the park. Your input is appreciated.
WE stayed in West Yellowstone KOA several years ago. WE went into the park through the West gate and made the circle around the park by car. It was an easy drive and lots to see. Be sure to visit the museum close to the place you are staying. it's interesting. The drive around the park is great for viewing the animals and other attractions. Would like to go back some time in the future. But time and age is against us. Enjoy your visit and watch out for the buffalo. I almost got run over by a big bull while taking pictures.
