Our experience with that part of CA is not boonndocking-friendly. Lots of enforcement of "No Overnight Parking" and "No RV parking". There is a county-operated part near Oceanside that may have first-come-first-served sites, as of 10 years ago. Perhaps someone from the SOCAL area can provide updated information.
