Rim issues may be rare but i had 2 rims crack in 3 years. The spoke wheels are very popular but the weak link is the spoke. I changed to the modular wheels to get away from the spokes 3 years ago and so far so good. I might have just gotten a bad batch of wheels but 2 wheels going bad was enough for me. Fortunately for me the tpms picked up 1 of the bad rims and the other tire went flat overnight. There are a lot of chug holes on the highway just waiting to test these wheels.
